A lot of people who are overweight and have excessive stomach fat are really desperate to burn all the fat and this leads to making the wrong eating decisions and choosing the wrong diets.
Especially the famous fad diets such as low-carb, low-fat, Jenny Craig’s etc.
But following these diets will not help you to burn fat although you will probably lose some weight with them but this isn’t fat that you’re burning but lean muscle loss and water from the muscle.
This will than make you gain more weight even faster when you start eating normal again because when you lose lean muscle your metabolism will decrease.
And you’ll start eating normal again at some point because just like most people you can’t handle all the cravings you get with diets like these.
Fortunately for you to flatten your stomach and get the body you want you don’t even need any fad diets.
The matter of fact is you just need to eat healthy and in the right way and you won’t have any cravings at all, it’s just a life style you need to get used to.
Do you think slim people always eat that little and always eat low-carb or low-fat? Do you think they have that much cravings as you do? Of course not! Most often they eat just enough and they eat 5/6 small meals a day to stay in shape.
Here are tips to start eating healthy.
1. Eat 5/6 small meals a day every 3 waking hours.
If you only eat 3 big meals a day like most people do you will raise insulin in your body which than will raise your blood sugar and this will make you more fat and keep you fat.
To keep the blood sugar low you need to eat 5/6 small meals a day.
2. Eat less calories
You need to decrease your calories but don’t decrease them too much. A good rule of thumb is not to decrease them more than 1000 of your normal intake.
That means if your normal intake is 3500 don’t get less than 2500 calories otherwise you will decrease your metabolic rate because your body will think you’re starving.
Also divide the calories into 5/6 small meals a day. If you need 2500 calories a day you should eat 6 meals of about 400 calories.
3. Have a good balance in your meals.
Eat enough healthy foods with enough proteins, healthy fats and carbohydrates.
Good protein foods are chicken breasts, turkey, fish.
Carbohydrates, make sure you eat more unrefined carbs and more protein and healthy fats with the carbs.
This will slow down the digesting of the carbohydrates which results in a steady insulin level. If you do this right, the excessive sugar will be used for your muscle after your worked, if you eat wrong it will be stored as fat.
Healthy fats. Include nuts, seeds, extra virgin oil, fish, peanut butter.
And eat a lot of vegetables, fruits and drink enough water eat least 2 liters a day.
And don’t forget that eating healthy only will not get you the best results you need to train for 3-4 days a week as well.
Having the right balance between your diet and workouts will get you the best results no matter how much fat you need to lose.

If you want to losing abdominal fat you probably already know you need to change your eating habits and start eating a healthy diet.
Unfortunately many people don’t know what a healthy diet is.
Most of them fall for the great marketing ads from those low carb and low fat diets but these are far from what’s considered a healthy diet.
It’s true you can lose some weight with these diets but you will gain it again much faster than you lost it.
First of all these diets restrict you from eating one of the 3 important macronutrients your body needs to function properly.
Second when you follow a diet like this you will lose some weight but this weight isn’t actually fat but lean muscle and water weight loss from the depleting the muscle glycogen stores therefore many people think they lost weight but in reality they didn’t.
Anway, a healthy diet is balance between healthy fats, enough carbs and the right amount of calories. You don’t want to lower your calorie intake more than 1000 calories from your normal intake.
For example if your normal intake was 3000 calories you don’t want to go below 2000 because your body will think you are starving thus it will lower your metabolic rate and make you store fat for energy reserves.
Besides a healthy diet having the proper workout plan is a necessity for losing abdominal fat.
Before I explain the proper workouts I want you to know a little bit about fat storage and losing fat.
Our bodies have certain hormonal receptors which make us lose fat and make us store fat.
Men have a lot of the fat storing receptors around their stomach and women around their thighs and hips.
Therefore the body will store fat first at these parts before storing at other parts of our bodies, and these parts of your body are also the last parts where you will lose it.
Now the key is to increase the fat-burning hormones and the resting metabolic rate with proper diet and also with proper workouts.
Many people think in order to lose abdominal fat they have to do a lot of crunches some people tend to do hundreds of crunches everyday and after a month they ask themselves why they haven’t lost any fat.
But it doesn’t work this way. The only way to increase your RMR and fat burning hormones is by full-body exercises and the best exercises for this is weight lifting.
These exercises will make you lose weight very fast and effective. And the more muscle you built with them the higher your RMR will be and the more calories you will burn.
Keep in mind that you don’t look to lose weight but look to lose fat. If you do weight lifting you will lose a lot of fat but you will gain muscles too and since muscles are heavier than fat you won’t see that you lost a lot of weight, but you did lose fat.
When you lost your abdominal fat it’s time to get them rock hard with ab specific exercises.
Try to get enough resistance on your abdominals for faster and better results.
And do take enough resting days between exercises because that’s when your abs will grow.

When people want to lose weight most of the time they do the wrong exercises.
This is because most of them don’t know how the body burns fat and because they get bad advice from people who don’t know it neither.
Most mistakes people make are
1. Bad diet
People think they’re on a diet but it really isn’t a healthy diet at all. Like those famous fad diets such as low-carb or low-fat don’t work in the long run.
It’s true that you lose weight in the beginning that’s because most often you lose lean muscle but that makes you gain more weight in the long run because your body lowers your metabolism.
To be honest you shouldn’t even be in a gym if your diet is not right yet. Get your diet right eat healthy foods don’t lower your calories intake too much because you will make it even harder for yourself to burn fat.
When your diet is right it’s time to begin working out but make sure you do the right workouts
2. Wrong exercises
Even though there’s a chance you have a proper diet and eat the right foods if you do the wrong exercises you won’t lose any weight neither.
In order to stimulate the fat-burning hormones and increase the resting metabolic rate in your body you need to work out more muscle groups in your body.
That means no ab specific exercises most people do when they want to lose stomach fat.
No cardio because these machines stabilize the weights for you thus your body core doesn’t have to do anything which is also bad for your spine.
Now don’t think you really need to go to a gym there are plenty of exercises you can do at home, of course you need to get yourself some equipment at home but that doesn’t have to cost you more than a membership for the gym.
If you want to burn fat and have a lean stomach and probably a six pack there are 2 things you need to know.
1. You need to know how, what and when to eat
2. You need to know the proper exercises that burn fat like crazy
So what should be the right way to eat than? As first don’t lower your caloric intake for more than 1000 calories of your normal intake, that means if your normal intake is 3500 don’t go below 2500.
If you do your body will think it’s starving and it’ll lower your metabolism and store more fat for energy reserves.
Eat 5/6 small meals a day.
Healthy foods you can eat are fruits and vegetables, sweet potatoes, whole unrefined grains, beans, organic meat and nuts.
Proper workouts you must do to get lean are full-body multi-joint workouts and especially weight lifting.
These exercises train more muscle groups of your body and therefore increase your resting metabolic rate high enough so that your body burns more calories than you would with single joint exercises training specific muscles like ab exercises.
Now that you know the 2 most biggest mistakes people do when they want to lose weight it’s time to see how you can do it the right way and lose that unwanted fat.

There’s no denying it more and more people are getting fatter every day.
becoming obese in these days is easier for most people easier then getting rid of the unwanted fat.
If you want to lose fat you need to work harder for it otherwise you will never see any results.
Unfortunately a lot of people think this hard work is too hard for them.
But it doesn’t have to be that hard as matter of fact it really isn’t, you just need to keep doing it and never ever quit.
Here are 3 tips to get you started to get rid of fat and for the most of them you don’t even have to leave your home.
1. Increase your metabolism.
You’ve probably heard it already a few times but this one really can’t stressed out enough. If you want to lose fat increasing your resting metabolic rate (RMR) is vitally important.
The best way to increase your metabolism is by doing anaerobic workouts, full-body multi-joint workouts like weight lifting.
This is because lean muscle increases your resting metabolic rate compared to other workouts like cardio, treadmills etc.
Full-body multi-joint workouts increase your resting metabolic rate up to 2 days after the workout which makes them the top workouts to increase RMR.
There are a lot of full-body exercises you can do at home, you only need a set of dumbbells and you are ready to go.
Exercises like Dumbbell lunges, One arm dumbbell rows, Overhead barbell or dumbbell presses, One arm swings and the top RMR increasing exercises One arm snatches are really doable at home.
And you only need to do them 3-4 days a week for 45 – 60 minutes a day.
2. Eating healthy
I highly recommend not to fall into the low-fat or low-carb diets trap. These diets just don’t work, even though some people lose some weight it isn’t the right way to lose it, it’s not naturally.
These diets restricts you from eating one of the 3 important macronutrients your body needs to function properly.
Besides when you lose weight with these diets it’s because you lose lean muscle, and losing lean muscle means a lower resting metabolic rate making it harder to lose weight even though you keep on dieting.
Fats are important for your body and there are even healthy fats that support fat loss in your body.
3. Motivation and Goals
For a lot of people it’s hard to get started most often because they don’t believe in themselves and what they can achieve.
But if you just think about it a minute and you realize there are a lot of people who did manage to lose their fat why in the world wouldn’t you be able to lose it too?
There is no difference between your and theirs body, they need to eat healthy, do exercises, increase their RMR just like you do only difference is they did it and did it successfully.
Set some goals your yourself, it doesn’t have to be an enormous goal like lose all my body fat and get a six pack by this summer. Set a realistic goal and start doing exercises and eating healthy

Do you know what the definition of insanity is? It is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. Yet day after day people are doing this at the gym. They follow the same routine with the same amount of weights. If you want the easiest way to lose fat quickly you must do something different. Follow these guidelines and you will be amazed on how easy it can be for you to get lose fat quickly.
Forget about doing long bouts of cardiovascular training. It is a waste of time. The idea about doing long bouts of cardio is that you stay in the fat burning zone. But guess what happens when you are done? You go back to your normal metabolic rate. Do intervals. Even though you are well above the fat burning zone, in the long run you will be in fat burning zone longer. After the interval session is over your body will have to recover and repair the working muscles. This will keep you in the fat burning zone for up to 12 hours after completing the workout.
Do compound exercises. These include weighted dips, bent over rows, military press, squats, lunges and dead lifts. These exercises expend more energy than using a machine at the gym. These exercises will also release a growth hormone that will help build muscle. The more lean muscle you have the more calories you burn per day. Since the demands of these exercises are so much greater, your body will have an elevated metabolism for up to 24 hours after the workout. Lastly, all of these exercises include your core muscles. Since balance and stabilization is involved you have to keep your abs contracted during the exercises.
Avoid the mistake that the majority of dieters fall into. That is dropping their calorie intake too low. When you do this you are not supplying your body with enough fuel to recover. You want to stay in a slight calorie deficient zone on average over a week. Then on some days you can eat more and others eat less. This is called calorie shifting. This prevents the body from slowing the metabolism to accommodate for the fewer calories you are consuming. By eating different amounts of different days you are tricking your body into thinking that it is eating more than it actually is.
Because everyone wants to firm up there abs, here is a tip when training your abs. Use weights. Every other body part you train you use weights and perform 10 to 12 repetitions to to tone abd shape the muscle. Why would the abs be any different? Figure out a way to completely fatigue your abs in 12 to 15 repetitions and stop doing 100’s of crunches. This will promote a more ripped looking abdominals.
I know that I did not get into the details of an exact program. This article was meant to get you thinking in a new direction. It was meant o think of possible things that you can change in your current routine. This is the method to lose fat quickly. Follow the advice and you should see the fat melt away fast.
Start following the right diet and take a look at diet for abs. Do want to know what is the best and most efficient stomach exercise is?
